ROLE: Creative Director
AGENCY: Modern Arts
I first met Adam Groves, Zac Ryder, and Brooke Stites at 180LA, over a decade ago. Aside from them just being great people, I looked up to them as they always seemed to be making cool stuff. In fact, they inspired me to have the courage to pitch some wild ideas that would eventually be made. Fast forward 10+ years, here we are creating great work for their new agency. An agency that is already getting a ton of accolades by every industry publication that matters.
And to top it off, we got to work with a brand as iconic as Adobe (whose tools I have used pretty much every day for as long as I can remember) and team up with the incredibly charasmatic benny blanco, who delivered exactly how we expected him to. He was a joy to work with.
We created a 7-minute short film showcasing Adobe Express templates that Benny made specifically for restaurants. The core of the idea: show how easy it is to use Express to create merch, flyers, and social posts—even for someone with zero design experience, like Benny. We put it to the test with Mariscos 4 Vientos, a multi-generational, family-owned spot in LA known for their incredible tacos dorados (although don’t sleep on the fish tacos!).
